I've been shaped most by the people and landscapes of Northern Uganda and the Eastern Sierra; the liminality between the two remains my greatest teacher.

I've ridden across continents,  bantered my way through borders, run with giraffes, and been humbled in the mountains.

I believe that good fitness and the right gear don’t hurt, but the right attitude and a well-timed heckle will get you further. The bonds of friendship forged through adversity are what makes adventure in far off lands worth pursuing.

But, more often than not,  you'll find Claire and me strolling along the river here in Bend.

Not My Day Job

My full time gig is at CAPABLE where I'm a part of a team that works to end extreme poverty in Northern Uganda. We've been at it for nearly 20 years and produce sector leading impact at scale.
